Cambridge Punting - Why us?

The business is run by four people who have a combined 25 years of experience. Some of us have even worked for Scudamores Punting Company in the past!
Having seen how standards in service can decline with the increased size of a business, we can offer much more personal treatment because we as the business owners will deal with you in person to ensure that we can accommodate your requests.
The moderate size of our business means that we don’t have to just draft in large numbers of people and thus we are in a position to be more discerning with our recruitment. We tend to only use seasoned chauffeurs with at least a couple of years worth of experience.
Whilst the basic facts about colleges remain the same, each chauffer has taken the time to do their own background research into the colleges. The different chauffeurs will engage with their own pieces of information which mean that you will not just receive a standard mechanized description of what you are looking at. This gives a more personal feel to your experience.
Our knowledge of Cambridge extends well beyond punting so feel free to make other inquiries. We have relationships with a number of local restaurants and businesses which means we can offer you discounts on some local services.
A pre-requisite for operating a commercial punt on the river Cam (regulated by the Cam conservators) to have commercial license which requires full public liability insurance. We can assure you that we have commercial licenses to operate.
